The following hotels are all located in close proximity to Southern Evangelical Seminary. All hotels have easy access to I-485 and are near restaurants and shopping. Charlotte is the home of NASCAR’s Lowe’s Motor Speedway.  Summer months can mean race weekends.  If you will be in Charlotte during a race weekend, be sure to make hotel reservations well in advance. These rates, which include tax, are current as of April 24, 2008.

Rates for extended stays (one week or more):

When coming to Charlotte for residence modules you should plan to be here from Monday afternoon until Saturday afternoon. Classes begin at 6:00pm on Monday. When making arrival plans be sure to allow time to get to the school, purchase books and notes, pay tuition, etc. Saturday classes run until 4pm. Allow for a one hour trip to / from the airport if you are flying in (Directions). Accommodations may be obtained at extended stay hotels in the area. Some of the closer ones are listed below, the areas are shown on the map in yellow circles. These prices were current as of April 24, 2008, but they can change for any number of reasons throughout a given year so be sure to contact the hotel for current rates and reservations.

JAARS Housing

The JAARS Missions Center offers housing to visiting SES students and guests based on availability.  For additional information, call 1-800-890-0628.  When inquiring or making reservations, please let them know that you are with Southern Evangelical Seminary.

Center Housing rates per night, plus N.C. sales tax where applicable. Rates are subject to change.  One to seven nights $32.00 one to two persons $16.00 for each extra adult $6.00 additional per child 18 years or under $44.00 maximum per night for a family Eight nights or more Prorated based on monthly rate of your accommodations Monthly rates $420.00–$550.00 efficiency or one bedroom $580.00 two bedrooms $615.00–$680.00 three–four bedrooms (All rates include electricity, water, sewage, trash disposal, DSL and basic telephone) Recreational Vehicle Sites 1–7 nights: $15 per night 8–29 nights: prorated based on monthly rate 30 nights and longer: $9.83 per night or $295.00 per month Maximum 3-month stay, per Union County regulations.
