Youtube video

You should see the Youtube video "10 Questions Every Intelligent Christian Must Answer" located at this link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDHJ4ztnldQ

If you watch it, every SES / BC student would likely immediately realize that it's mainly one question.......namely, the problem of evil.  Which is relatively easily answered and rebutted.  But what makes this particular video so dangerous is that it uses psychological manipulation.  The author asks questions that have already assumed the answer.  Then you'll notice how many times the author repeats things like "it's insane" "you must be unreasonalbe" "you have to come up with a convoluted answer" etc.  Then in the second half, notice how many  times he repeats "God is imaginary" over and over and over.

By repeating these things over and over, the video is more of a pschological sales pitch than a reasoned argument.  It's the first step of brainwashing.  I know the answers to this person, that's not what is troubling me. What is so troubling to me is that this video has been seen 1.8 million times.  ALMOST TWO MILLION.  So one competent sophist with an emotional argument can put this on Youtube for very little money, and decieve millions of people. It's been bugging me ever since I saw it last night.  Staying in the walls of our churches will not counteract the militant atheists.

We shold use this as a call to action, or at least a motivator.  If people like us do not respond, then who will?
